Find magic in the ordinary and you’ll always have a reason to smile #montrealjetaime
My Mum! The rock of our family and the best listener/advice giver. #thankfuleveryday
This might sound corny, but there’s truly so much to be thankful and excited for in life. The big and the small things. I made so many memories just in the past few weeks alone: 1) A dinner @restaurantbeba to celebrate @chewthroughthepain signing her new lease 2) I got told that I dress like a bank robber 3) Paid @samiahann a visit @_tierspaysage_ and had the lovely surprise of seeing @norrinu 4) Lots of hours spent in the lab where I found a new favourite lab task, slicing organs 5) New slippers for this girl who has another autoimmune, in addition to celiac, called Raynaud’s disease (just poor circulation to your extremities) 6) So much love for the magic of @liliandoli 7) Fulfilled a childhood dream of sitting front row at a Habs game (for FREE!). Still not exactly sure how I lucked into that 8) Not pictured, but probably the most important, lots of love from my animals

I have a bean problem (and apparently a sausage problem too) #glutenfreebiensûr
A selfie is defined as: “an image that one has taken of oneself.” These images are now the norm in the age of the Internet. It may no longer seem significant to you, but to me a selfie means much more. Looking back, I would rarely share images of myself and, when I did, I would cringe and criticize myself. While self-reflection and self-criticism can be helpful and lead to growth, this criticism was not that. It was me tearing myself apart. Now, when I post a selfie, it is a small moment of celebration. It is me acknowledging how far I’ve come (especially in the past year). A selfie can be looked at as an act of vanity, but, to me, it is me saying: “I feel good. This used to be a rare feeling, but it’s now common and I want to celebrate it. I can still be my worst enemy, but I am also so proud of the progress I’ve made. While there is still more work to be done (we are always works in progress), I am no longer afraid to be me. I no longer need to hide. I embrace my quirks, oddities, silly faces, and imperfections. This selfie is for me and no one else.”
He’s clearly over my shit 🙄
